Play a vital role in enhancing the day-to-day operations of the existing health care system by working for this healthcare technology company in the role of a Site Reliability Engineer. By joining this company, you will improve the interoperability of the platforms. As a result, you will be able to influence the entire patient care experience.

As part of your job profile, you will be managing SLAs as well as executing and defining strategies to make sure the company’s cloud infrastructure is deployed correctly. You will frequently support activities like performance monitoring and also collaborate with the company’s compliance team.
 

What You’ll be Doing:
• Make contributions toward the company’s cloud platform
• Improve platform’s availability, performance, and stability for the internal stakeholders as well as the customers
• Manage apposite Service Level Agreements
• Execute and define a strategy to ensure deployment of the company’s cloud infra with an eye on scalability
• Design and create end-to-end automation in a cloud platform with the intention of supporting an international customer base
• Aid activities such as automated alerting, performance monitoring along with self-healing resiliency
• Detect and deploy best practice toolsets that are required to administer operations as well as security of the cloud platform
• Implement and develop strategies to manage the costs of the company’s cloud infra as well as relevant tooling that consists of reporting on cost efficiency criteria
• Associate with engineering leaders and teams in the company to forward the development of CI/CD, cloud-enabled software, and other contemporary engineering practices
• Collaborate with the company’s compliance team to implement, monitor, and design appropriate controls for the cloud environment in order to fulfill industry expectations and regulatory requirements
• Act as a thought leader on the opportunities that are presented by growing the utilization of cloud technologies
• Maintain communication about the company’s cloud capabilities both internally and externally


What You’ll Bring to the Role:
• At least 5 years of experience in architecting, engineering, and delivering tech solutions
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering/Science or some other relevant field
• Tremendous experience in executing and designing automation and deployment solutions in public cloud platforms, AWS is the preferred cloud platform
• Administration skills in operating systems, experience in Linux will be preferred
• IaaS orchestration and automation such as TerrForm, Ansible, CloudFormation, and Kubernetes
• Experience in logging, monitoring, and reporting tools, Datadog is the preferred tool
• Programming experience in languages such as Python and Java
• Ability to develop distributed and scalable services like AWS Fargate, CloudFront, Lambda, etc.
• Expertise in networking and infrastructure such as Docker, AWS EC2, ECS, EKS, VPNs, BGP, and VPC
• Development practices experience in CI/CD, Agile, and DevOps
• Testing and security experience with Datadog SIEM, Sophos InterceptX, Threat modeling, Molecule, and CIS Benchmark
• Top-notch communication skills in English, competency in both verbal and written English
• Competent in collaborating across teams and forging good relationships
